The Extraction Process

When you come in for a tooth extraction, the first thing we will do is numb the area around the tooth with a local anesthetic. This will help ensure your comfort during the procedure. Next, we will loosen the tooth and remove it from its socket. In some cases, we may need to remove the tooth in sections. Once the tooth is removed, we will clean the area and provide you with instructions on how to care for the extraction site.
